We reviewed question words last week. Rather than pre-learning for next week, take some time to do some vocab activities or other practice. It's great to see how conversational ya'll are getting. It's important to maintain practice and exposure! Here's some resources for that:
- http://falk2016.weebly.com/useful-and-fun-websites.html a list of ways to practice.
- https://www.meetup.com/spanish-50/ there's a weekly meetup. I believe in Royal Oak. I used to go sometimes. Now that you are conversational, it could be a great way to practice!
Next class, we will:
- review question words and practice basic questions and verbs
- introduce adverbs of frequency to incorporate in questions and answers
- start working on prepositions and places in a city
Also, here's the conversation starters I keep forgetting to bring!

Due to people being out of town, we will have two classes in a row. Our next class will now be Wednesday, December 14 from 6:30-8 at the Repair the World workshop in Southwest Detroit. Last week, we reviewed letters, numbers, time, and basic questions. We also practiced new verbs with a few conversation phrases.
- ¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre? (what do you like to do in your free time) or ¿Qué le gusta hacer en su tiempo libre? (formal)
- Me gusta...(add a verb)
- For discussing regular actions you do, you drop the ar, er, or ir at the end of a verb and add an o. So, for aprender which means to learn, you would say yo aprendo
Below are the verbs we were practicing with!
You can also practice verbs here (though the lists may not be the same): http://www.sporcle.com/games/druhutch/clic-con-el-boton
